Sign In Options

Learn about sign in options for Grow, including SSO configurations.

Please note: This article is intended for System Administrators or district/school IT. 

Overview 

There are multiple options to consider when configuring your school or district's Login Page settings in Grow. Options can be toggled on/off in System Settings > General Settings > Login Page Settings, but some setting choices will require additional configuration beyond the toggle. 

Available Options

Email & Password

The first three options all involve email & password. In this example, the district is configured to allow for Log In with Email/Password AND to allow a user to create a password when logging in first the first time.

SSO with Google, Canvas, Clever or Microsoft

The next set of SSO options are through third-party authenticators, Google, Canva, Clever & Microsoft. To configure these options, you should first reach out to your CSM for configuration assistance. 

You will need the relevant ID that can be associated with each user on the Grow site, for example the Clever ID or Canvas ID. 

SAML Option

Reach out to your CSM to configure the SAML Option.
