Learn how to lock a user in order to prevent the nightly SFTP import from impacting that user.
Please note: This article is primarily for users with a School Admin role and above.
Your school's settings may give you permission to lock users. If so, you can lock a user by first going to their profile.
You can then lock their account by clicking Manage User then clicking the Lock button.
Unlike archiving a user, locking a user will prevent the nightly SFTP import from affecting the locked user. Locking the user does NOT prevent them from being edited within Grow.
Note: Locking a user is a different process from archiving a user. Learn about archiving a user here.
